1. Not an emergency service

I’M SAFE is not a substitute for police, ambulance, fire or any emergency response service. If you are in danger or facing an emergency, please call 112 or your local emergency number immediately.

The app is designed to help you stay connected and share alerts, but it cannot replace real emergency assistance.

2. No guarantee of safety

I’M SAFE provides tools to support your safety such as SOS alerts, location sharing and trusted contacts, but it cannot guarantee safety, protection, rescue or prevention of harm. Situations outside our control may affect your experience or the availability of the service.

3. Feature limitations

The performance of the app depends on factors such as:

• Mobile network
• Location accuracy on your device
• Battery level
• Internet connection
• Device permissions
• Bluetooth connectivity (for Bluetooth SOS Tags)
• Hardware functioning

Because of these factors, some features may not work at all times or in all locations.

4. Information and awareness content

Any information, tips or awareness material provided through the app or the website, including Community contributions and safety guides, is for general awareness only. It is not legal, medical, psychological, counselling or professional advice.

Always consult appropriate professionals or authorities when necessary.

5. User responsibility

Users are responsible for:

• Keeping their device charged
• Ensuring permission settings are enabled
• Making sure their Bluetooth SOS Tag and its battery are functioning
• Using the app in a lawful manner
• Not misusing SOS or safety features

The Platform is not responsible for outcomes caused by user actions or misuse.

6. Third-party services and links

The platform may connect to third-party services such as:

• SMS and email providers
• Payment gateways
• App stores
• Delivery partners
• External websites or social media

We do not control or guarantee the accuracy, performance or policies of these third parties.

7. Hardware disclaimer (Bluetooth SOS Tags and Personal Alarms)

Our Bluetooth SOS Tags are optional buttons that trigger an SOS through the I’M SAFE app on a compatible nearby paired phone. They:

• Are not GPS trackers and do not work independently of the app
• Need the app, Bluetooth, the required permissions and the phone in range
• Are not surveillance devices and should not be used for spying or illegal monitoring
• May not work if damaged, out of range, or low on battery
• Are not a substitute for supervision or a professional tracking system.

The Company is not liable for misuse or improper handling of hardware devices.

7a. Community

Community is a separate destination in the app for local conversation. It is not part of your private Bubbles.

Community contributions are not emergency alerts, professional advice or verified facts, and they are not proof that a place is safe. Community is not monitored for emergencies.

Map observations are coarse, approximate and community-reported, and they disappear from public view after seven days. They are not verified facts and are not proof that a place is safe.

7b. Vault

A private space on your iPhone for notes, selected photos, files and deliberate foreground audio records.

Exported copies leave Vault protection. If the device, its keys or the app are lost, records you never exported can become unavailable, so export anything you need to keep elsewhere.

Recording laws differ by country and state. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you record.

8. No warranty on outcomes

We provide the app and hardware on a best-effort basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service, accuracy of location at all times, or guaranteed delivery of alerts. We do not promise any specific safety result or outcome.

9. Legal and regulatory disclaimer

All content and services are provided in compliance with applicable Indian laws.

Nothing in the platform should be considered legal advice or a guarantee of legal protection.

10. Changes to this Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer Policy when needed. Changes will be posted on the website/app with an updated date.
