I’M SAFE does not call emergency services. An offline SOS cannot alert your Bubble. Learn the controls beforehand and agree any practice alert with your recipients.

Know your SOS before you need it.
Open Tools, then SOS.
Tap Alerting and choose the Bubbles you want to notify.
Check location and notification access in Settings, Permissions.
Back in SOS, tap Start SOS when you need help.
There’s a five-second countdown. Cancel a mistake here, or choose Send now.
Once an alert is active, a recipient’s four-digit safe code ends it.
Your location is shared during SOS, even if you were Private.
Audio and photos are optional; review Recording and permissions to set them up.
Check the status shown. An offline SOS cannot alert your Bubble,
and I’m Safe does not call emergency services.
