Your privacy choices

1. Location sharing and Go Private

Location sharing in a Bubble is under your control. You decide which Bubbles you are in and when you share.

• Turn location sharing on or off per Bubble in the app.
• Use Go Private to stop new location updates being sent.
• Location updates are shown to your Bubble with a live, recent or stale timestamp, so nobody has to guess how current they are.

Go Private stops new updates. Last-known information may stay visible to your Bubble along with the time it was recorded. To remove yourself entirely, leave the Bubble.

You can also withdraw the operating-system location permission from your device settings at any time. Location-dependent features stop working when you do.

2. Bubbles, Chat and Journeys

• Bubbles are invite-only. You choose who to invite and you can leave a Bubble at any time.
• Journeys are started by you and end when the journey ends.
• Zones are yours to create, edit and remove.
• Bubble Chat and Saved Messages stay inside the Bubble they belong to.

3. Community participation

Community is optional and separate from your private Bubbles. If you never open it, no Community eligibility check is made.

• Hide your displayed name from other contributors if you prefer.
• Edit or delete your own contributions.
• Block and unblock individual contributors.
• Report content that breaks the rules.

Hiding your displayed name is not anonymity. I’M SAFE keeps authenticated authorship so we can moderate, enforce the rules and act on deletion requests.

4. Vault

Vault content is opened with device authentication and held in encrypted local storage on your iPhone. It stays on the device unless you explicitly export it, and exported copies leave Vault protection. You can delete Vault items yourself at any time.

5. Website cookies and analytics

This website asks for your consent before loading optional analytics. Essential cookies needed to run the site and complete an order are always on.

You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings control on this website, and you can clear existing cookies from your browser settings.

6. Marketing messages

If you have opted into marketing email, every message includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations or replies from support.

7. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Account deletion has its own page with the exact steps and consequences: Delete your account.

Email support@imsafe.app to make a request. We verify that a request comes from the account holder before acting on it. These controls and requests work the same way whether you are in India or using I’M SAFE internationally; the entity that handles your request is the one named in our Privacy Policy for your market.

8. Advertising and sale of personal data

We do not show third-party advertising inside the I’M SAFE app, and we do not sell your personal data. We do collect and process personal data to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
